If you have difficulty reading Text Labels on the enlarged maps:

Some browsers automatically "re-size" large images to fit the window in which it is displayed.  This can result in a loss of quality of text and other fine detail.

TO IMPROVE THE IMAGE, restore it to its original size by one of the following methods:

INTERNET EXPLORER -- Most later versions of Internet Explorer allow resizing by placing the cursor over the image.  If the image has automatically been reduced in size, after a few seconds a small icon will appear at the lower right corner that looks like a button with four arrows going out from it.  Click this "Expand to regular size" button and the image should become sharper as it enlarges.  [To permanently disable the automatic-resize feature, go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced and under the Multimedia category, remove the check mark from the item labeled "Enable Automatic Image Resizing", then click <OK>.]

NETSCAPE -- Most later versions of Netscape also allow resizing by placing the cursor over the image.  If the image has automatically been reduced in size, the cursor will change to a small "magnifying glass" with a "plus sign" (+) inside it.  Simply click on the image and it will be enlarged.  (The cursor will now have a "minus sign" (-) inside it, which can be clicked to reduce it to fill the window.)  [To permanently disable the automatic-resize feature, go to Edit | Preferences | Appearance and remove the check mark from the item labeled "Resize large images to fit in the browser window", then click <OK>.]

PDF Files -- The Adobe Acrobat Reader includes a Zoom function on the toolbar.  Click on the "+" or "-" icons to zoom in or out, or change the "percentage" figure displayed by typing in the size you would like to see.  ("100%" approximates the actual size of the original image.  Resolutions below 75% or above 125% may appear distorted.)

ACCELERATORS -- If you are using an "Accelerator" feature to speed image downloads, you may need to "Refresh the Picture to its original Full Quality" in order to see the detail.  This feature is usually available by "right-clicking" the image to select the feature.

Parking

Saturdays, Sundays and Evenings

St Stephen's community has access to free covered parking at the PHFA facility, adjacent to the Bar Association, with entrance from River Street.  Free access to the parking garage will be available all day Saturdays and Sundays, and after 6 PM on weekdays.  Rare exceptions may be made in the event of festivities such as Kipona, Arts Festival, and other Riverfront or Downtown special events.  When approaching the gate, there are two keypads to the driver's left.  Using the smaller keypad on the right, enter the code "7-7-3-2-#" --  the gate will then rise.  (When departing, the gate will automatically rise when you approach it with your vehicle.)  The garage interior has an elevator on each floor, and a handicapped ramp at ground level.

Parking is also available in the 2d Street Parking Garage for a fee.  When you enter the garage you will get a ticket.  In order to pay for the parking, you must go to the machine in the lobby (ground floor) to insert payment BEFORE going to your car.

+ The parking spaces at the Diocesan Office (Corner Pine and Front -- enter from Pine St.) are available Sundays and evenings.  They are not to be used during business hours.
+ Street parking should be utilized as well (on 2nd, Locust or Pine Streets).

See Cathedral Area Map for Parking Areas
