Miscellaneous Locations
The new construction provides for TWO stairwells to serve
the upper floors.
One stairwell was constructed outside the building in a new
stair tower, adjacent to the Cranberry Street entrance, and between the "old
building" (Cathedral House) and the "garage building". Pictures of
that construction can be found on the
Entrance page.
An additional stair tower was constructed in the northeast
corner of the building, just inside where the former River Street "garage
door" used to be. This involved cutting an opening in each floor and
installing steel stairs and concrete block walls.
