Parish Nurse

Beth Seng is an Oncology Certified Registered Nurse who currently works part time in a local Hematology/Oncology practice where she educates patients, administers chemotherapy and monitors patient care needs. During her career, she worked for many years in women's reproductive health care, gynecologic oncology and more recently as a hospice nurse. In 1985, Beth received a BS from Penn State Univ in Health Planning and Administration then went back to school to complete the Nursing program at Harrisburg Area Community College, She is a volunteer with the American Cancer Society and accepted the Parish Nurse at St Stephens in 2006. She is married and the mother of 2 teenage boys.

As the Parish Nurse, I hope to offer opportunities for wellness through education, involvement in parishioners needs and concerns and the further development of health ministry. I invite you to seek our team's assistance with your health related concerns. We are honored to share our ministry with all who have need or desire for healing and spiritual wellness.

HELEN HENDRICKSON, PARISH HEALTH MINISTRY COORDINATOR brought her years of experience in health care administration to the formation of our Parish Health Ministry. She has been a long time parishioner here at St. Stephen’s. Helen serves as a liaison between the parishioners and the parish nurse. She is responsible for coordinating the activities of this ministry. 

The ministry team consists of a volunteer medical director, Dr. Gordon Arnold, licensed medical professionals and trained lay visitors. They willingly donate their time to provide the services of this ministry.
