We are pleased to announce the upcoming wedding of Ryan Tobin and Lindsay Gottwald!
Date, Time and Location
The marriage ceremony will take place at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Cathedral in Harrisburg on February 9, 2019 at 5:00 pm. We advise that you allow a few extra minutes for parking.
Immediately following the ceremony, there will be a light reception (wine & cheese) in the Undercroft of the Cathedral.
All are welcome to attend, including children of all ages. In order to help us plan for the reception, we would appreciate that you RSVP by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, listing the number of people attending. We ask that you please RSVP by January 31st so that we can adjust orders for the reception if necessary. Also, please include a note if you are planning on bringing young children so that our nursery staff can plan ahead.
About the Service
The solemnization of the marriage will take place within a Celtic Eucharist service. Music will be provided by Seasons, a local Celtic Nu-Folk band. The service will include readings from Holy Scripture, the singing of hymns and Holy Communion (the Lord’s Supper). Everyone is welcome to receive communion if they wish; the priest will provide instructions at the service.
In lieu of gifts, we ask that you consider making a donation to support the work of The Sycamore House. The Sycamore House provides young adults with a chance to participate in a year-long service opportunity in or around the City of Harrisburg while living in an intentional community. If you would like to make a gift in honor of our wedding, a collection for this purpose will be taken up during the wedding service. (Checks should be made out to “St. Stephen’s Episcopal Cathedral” with “Sycamore House – Wedding Gift” in the memo line.)
Parents with Small Children
Your children are also invited to attend! Children are welcome to be present for the ceremony, and our nursery will also be available and staffed.
We will have free garage parking available in the PHFA Garage on River Street in Harrisburg. A parking attendant will be on site to assist you.
